The Surrogacy Process for Parents
Step 1
Screening & Consultation
After completing your screening, you can start your journey to parenthood by booking a complimentary consultation. As you learn more about our surrogacy program and surrogates, we will also get to know you, your expectations. and your needs.
Step 2
Admissions
When you are ready to get started, you will sign a retainer agreement and pay a retainer fee, allowing us permission to start your surrogacy journey. This retainer can be done at any time, including during your initial consultation.
Step 3
Surrogate Match
RHEA GenWell offers a match guarantee. If your surrogate does not pass the medical or overall wellness screening, we will cover the screening expenses up to $5,000. Once you are matched with a surrogate, one of our staff members will facilitate a match meeting via video conference.
Step 4
In Vitro Fertilization Cycle
Once you and your surrogate have passed the necessary screenings, your surrogate is ready for the IVF cycle. For her cycle, she’ll receive her medication and begin monitoring at a clinic. When your surrogate is ready for the embryo transfer, she will return to your IVF clinic and undergo this procedure.
Step 5
Pregnancy & Monitoring
The longest stage of your journey will be the time you strengthen your bond with your surrogate as she carries your baby throughout the pregnancy. Your coordinator will be checking in frequently to monitor and provide support, so you will also be supported during this time. Your surrogate will be released to her own OBGYN after the first trimester, and continue with ultrasound check-ins.
Step 6
Birth & Parenthood
Preparing for a new family member is an emotional journey, and finally holding your baby is an amazing feeling. When your child is released from the hospital, you will take your baby home and start this next chapter of your life! Traveling home with your new child can bring a whirlwind of emotions, and leaning into your support systems post-birth is just as important as during pregnancy.

Surrogacy Costs
We offer four programs to suit the various needs of our clients: P1, P2, P3, and P4. Each program is designed to provide you with an exceptional customer experience, high level of care, and concierge services tailored to your unique needs.
Every successful surrogacy process contains the same elements: a great surrogate, a pregnancy, and a baby. Each case, however, will have variations that influence the total costs. Your final budget will be shaped by the surrogate’s location, her compensation package and wages, the number of attempts it takes to get pregnant, as well as several other potential expenses that cannot be predicted ahead of time.
At RHEA GenWell, we value financial transparency. You will receive funding requests based on actual and estimated expenses to complete your process. Along the way, you will refresh your account whenever expenses exceed what has been collected. We have fixed costs in areas of the process that are most beneficial to do so, such as surrogate insurance, monitoring, and our service fees, though many legal professionals offer fixed-price options too.
